1. Same Pad
Using a same pad for the entire day can cause infection as it is a big hygiene issue you should take care of. You should change your pad every after 3-4 hours even if you are not bleeding so hard. But to avoid several infections.
2. Heavy Exercises
If you are in a habit of doing exercise or you will do the routine exercise then try to avoid the heavy exercises during your periods. As your body is already weak during these days and doing such heavy exercises can cause more trouble to you.
An unprotected sex during menses can keep you in trouble or can cause infections.So it’s better to avoid sex during your periods or Say NO to unprotected sex.
4. Proper Diet
During your period due to excessive blood loss, your body feels weak already so it is mandatory to take a proper diet on these days to keep you healthier.
5. Stay Hydrated
If you are on your hard days it is suggested by the doctors as well to drink plenty of water and stay hydrated as it helps you in reducing the menstrual cramps as well as it keeps you away from infections as well.
6. Dairy Products
It is advised women’s to avoid the dairy products such as milk or milk related products during periods as it can increase the cramps and make the condition worse.
